Place Value, Adding and Subtracting

This chapter will explore place value for whole numbers through the billions period.  For decimals, students will work with values up to the thousandths.  Addition and subtraction of whole numbers and decimals will be reviewed.  (Students are expected to have learned all addition and subtraction math facts for instant recall.) Use the links for math facts review if necessary.  Later, we will use the same skills to solve addition and subtraction equations using properties of equality.
