Welcome to Mrs. Repetti's Homepage! Minimize

Welcome to Mrs. Repetti's Home Page!!!!!

It is hard to believe we are already halfway through the current school year.  As a math specialist I  work with students in third through eighth grade.   I plan to continue expanding  the features in this  website with content for sixth, seventh, and eighth grades.  Tutorials for each chapter, vocabulary (in English and hopefully some Spanish), homework, and listings by topics are a few of the current features you will find.  I am constantly researching new sites to enhance the teaching and learning of mathematics for the global community of students, teachers, parents, and others who utilize this web resource.   I know that many of you now enjoy math with a deeper understanding and keener interest.    Please be patient during the development of this project.  Stop back often to see what is new!!!  I welcome your feedback and suggestions.  And of course, thank you for your continued support!

During the summer of '09,  I have participated in two NJEA programs:The 2009 Technology Integration Institute held at Stockton College and 2009 Summer Leadership in New Brunswick.  Since I  primarily  teach grades six through eight I am working on collating tiered lessons for common topics across grade levels.  I have continued to tutor myself in Spanish, to enhance this website, and to prepare myself for the use of future technologies (in my dreams I will have a computer with an LCD projector and  Smartboard in our classroom!)  In addition, I have enjoy spending time with my large family (five children and two grandchildren) and pets here at the shore.  Reading, knitting, gardening, fishing, cooking, eating out, exercising, origami, puzzles and games, and decorating the house are all  part of my lifestyle.

Visit this site to stay up to date on your math skills!

Enjoy the Learning!!!!

Folders with graded student work will be sent home along with Progress Reports and Report cards.    Please review each test and/or quiz with your student and sign each paper where you see the "rubber stamp".  Also please sign the cover sheet on the inside of the folder.   All papers and the folder should be returned to school on the following Monday.     Test and quiz papers are kept on file for the year.  It is recommended that students rework errors in order to learn from their mistakes.  Parents, feel free to sign your student's homework daily!  Thank you for your support and cooperation in reviewing your child's math work.  I look forward to an exciting and successful year for each of our students.
