Chapter 2 focuses on the multiplication of whole numbers and decimals, and evaluating algebraic expressions and solving equations.  We will review multiplication properties and procedures. (Students are expected to have mastered all basic multiplication facts.)  We will work on multiplication of 2-digits by 3 digits using estimation  and traditional computational methods.  Later in the year we will apply these skills when we learn about customary and metric conversions.
